The rules for using JustUs.

Draft status

These Terms of Use are draft platform copy pending professional legal review. They should not be treated as final binding terms until legal entity, jurisdiction and counsel approval are complete.

Eligibility and 18+ requirement

JustUs is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the service.

Age is currently based on the date of birth you provide and safety reports. JustUs does not currently offer automated age or ID verification.

Account responsibilities

• Provide accurate information and keep your account details up to date.
• Keep your password, sign-in method and verification codes secure.
• Do not share your account, impersonate anyone or create accounts for others.
• Tell us through the available support route if you believe your account has been misused.

Acceptable use

Use JustUs for lawful, respectful dating and relationship-building. Treat other members with dignity and respect, including across differences in identity, culture, faith, nationality, gender, orientation, lifestyle and relationship goals.

Prohibited conduct

• Harassment, hate, discrimination, colourism, fetishisation or demeaning behaviour.
• Sexual harassment, threats, coercion, stalking or intimidation.
• Scams, requests for money, fraud, phishing, spam or commercial solicitation.
• Impersonation, fake profiles, misleading photos or attempts to bypass blocks.
• Non-consensual intimate content, exploitation, underage use or content involving minors.
• Scraping, reverse engineering, attacks on the service or misuse of another member's data.

User content

You remain responsible for the photos, messages, profile text and other content you add to JustUs.

You should only upload content you have the right to use. You give JustUs permission to host, display and process that content so the service can operate, including profile display, matching, messaging, safety review and support.

Matching and AI limitations

JustUs may suggest profiles through rule-based discovery and AI Matchmaker explanations. Recommendations are possibilities, not guarantees of compatibility, safety, identity, intentions or relationship outcomes.

AI assists your choices. It does not make them for you, and members remain responsible for who they like, message and meet.

Subscriptions and paid features

Paid subscriptions are not currently active. Premium pricing and features shown on the site are proposed or planned unless clearly marked as available.

Subscription, renewal, cancellation, refund and consumer-rights terms must be added before any paid feature is launched.

Safety

JustUs offers tools such as reporting, blocking, optional photo verification and human review, but no dating service can guarantee the identity, intentions or conduct of every member.

Meet safely, protect personal information, never send money and contact local emergency services if anyone is in immediate danger.

Suspension and termination

JustUs may restrict, suspend or remove accounts that appear to break these terms, community guidelines or safety standards. Final appeal and notice procedures require legal review.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided for dating and social connection. It does not guarantee matches, relationship outcomes, member availability or uninterrupted access.

Liability limits, consumer-law carveouts and mandatory legal wording must be reviewed and tailored by counsel before launch.
